BLOODLINE MYSTERY TOUR - SPRING 2011

Rennes-le-Chateau, France
May 1st - 7th, 2011

RENNES-LE-CHATEAU...

A place of beauty, mystery and pilgrimage…a place of potent earth energies…a place of intrigue and questions, history and treasure. Why did Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code, use the mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau as the underlying basis ofthe bestselling novel of all time? Why does Henry Lincoln call this “The Holy Place”? And why do people from around the world flock to this tiny, remote village?

What is the real secret of this magical place? Why did Abbe Sauniere leave so many clues behind in the Church of Mary Magdalene? Who was his “housekeeper” Marie Denarnaud and what secrets of Rennes did she take to her grave?

What exists beneath this infamous hill of ancient interest? Is it healing water enhanced with special properties? Water that could lead to an alchemical process so powerful that its use was prohibited at all costs, even when the village itself was ablaze?

Is this the burial place of Jesus and Mary Magdalene, as legend holds? And if so, why there? Of all the places on earth, why is Rennes-le-Chateau considered such a strong possibility?

Finally, what role does Rennes-le-Chateau play in the current shift in consciousness? Some say this special place is connected to Roslin (Scotland) through the Rose Line. But what does that mean? And how does that play into the myth and legends of the area?

Come join us for a week of exploration into the past, present and future as we walk the lands in and around Rennes le Chateau, touch and drink the waters in Rennes and Alet-les-Bains, and connect with the highly charged earth energies during this era-2012…to awaken our own crystalline nature at this time…

This insider journey is hosted by radio host and filmmaker Rene Barnett along with author and intuitive Gloria Amendola. There will be special guest appearances by the Bloodline team, including English adventurer, author and discoverer of the Bloodline tomb, Ben Hammott.

You will also meet some noted surprise guests along the way.

7 DAY ITINERARY

The Languedoc and Rennes-le-Chateau, France
Spring 2011
May 1-7, 2011

Sunday, Day 1
Alet-les-Bains
Esperaza
Campagne-Sur-Aude
Rennes-le-Chateau

We will meet at Hotel L’Eveche in Alet les Bains, a charming hotel and once the site of an ancient bishop’s palace. This serene and lush setting is situated on the banks of the Aude River and in the shadows of the Abbey ruins, which once housed a Temple to the Goddess Cybele.

After everyone gets settled in, we first make a stop at the open-air market in Esperaza, where locals sell handcrafted items, regional foods and snacks. This town is said to be situated in the heart of the 6-pointed star according to the sacred geometry of the area.

From there, we travel a few kilometers but hundreds of years back in time to the former Templar commandery of Campagne-sur-Aude. To this day there remains a Templar church with stone passageway through which the Knights rode their horses into the church structure.

Then on to the village that is the central point of our journey for our first introduction to the magic of Rennes-le-Chateau. Once there, we will have lunch in Le Jardin de Marie. We will explore the strange interior of the Church of Mary Magdalene and spend some time in the Invisible Church. We will end the day with dinner together.

Monday, Day 2
Limoux
Church of St. Martin
“Blue” Church
Notre Dame de Marceille

On this day we will visit the heretical churches in Limoux for a first-hand look at the magnificent stained glass windows depicting the marriage of Jesus and Mary Magdalene (as seen in Bloodline, and make our way to the “Blue Church” to view a painting, which tells us by its very nature, that the artist believed Mary Magdalene was the wife of Jesus.

After visiting these two local churches, we will make our way to the village square and stop for lunch there. Then we will travel to the church of Notre Dame de Marceille and explore its curious history. We will spend some time in the church, with its Black Madonna, and walk down the old road which runs alongside the church, to the miraculous Well of Visions.

Some say this church has a secret underground complex and vault. Some speculate it held a monetary treasure; some say it was a pagan religious site; some say it was directly connected to a secret – possibly placed under the control of the Templars. Some even believe Sauniere – and those behind him – were trying to acquire this property. But why?

The evening’s dinner will be at Maison Christina. This wonderful food is prepared by master cook Christina herself!

Les Pontils

Tuesday, Day 3

The Poussin Tomb
Les Pontils
Serres
Rennes les Bains
Source de la Madeleine
The Tomb of the Grand Roman
Seat of Isis
The Lover’s Fountain

On this day we will explore the location of The Poussin Tomb, the Standing Stone at Les Pontils, and the Templar Church in Serres, all situated along the meridian called the Rose Line.

We then move on to Rennes les Bains, home to the Source de la Madeleine, a place of sacred waters. This place was a key location in the discoveries shown in Bloodline. We will take a short steep hike to the Seat of Isis, commonly known as the Devil’s Armchair, a very energetic and ancient “chair” that you can sit in, and another key Bloodline location. Further in we will walk to the Lover’s Fountain…a place of flowing waters…and a place with a possible connection to Abbe Sauniere and Emma Calve, or at least a lover’s inscription…

A casual lunch follows, in town at a restaurant whose name translates to Baths of the Queens. The old Roman baths there are still operational and draw people to them for their healing properties. Some locals whisper that Jesus once immersed himself in these waters.

There will be no group dinner on this evening, so your time is your own.

Wednesday, Day 4
Puivert Castle — Castle of the Troubadours
Montsegur

We will begin this day at Puivert Castle, a well-preserved chateau and film location. In its day, Puivert was the Castle of the Troubadours. This was the definitive party chateau. And when you visit it, you will understand why…

Just a few kilometers drive from Puivert, we come upon the majestic Montsegur. We will have lunch in this tiny village before heading further up the mountain.

Montsegur is the site of the last Cathar stronghold. It is famous for the siege in 1244 in which many early Christians of this Gnostic sect were burned alive as heretics by the Inquisition army.

From the lyrics of Montsegur by Iron Maiden:
“Facing the sun as they went to their grave, Burn like a dog or you live like a slave, Death is the price for your soul's liberty, To stand with the Cathars to die and be free…”

There is no group dinner this evening so your time is your own.

Thursday, Day 5
Alet-les-Bains
Carvings at the “Nostradamus” Family Home
St. Salvayre Chapel
The Standing Stone

Bring your water bottles when we visit this fresh source from which the drinking water is shipped and sold all over the world. But at this site, the water is free! So stock up, and drink up!

We will take a walk into the village and explore curious carvings at the “Nostradamus” family home, and then make our way into the Abbey ruins and site of the former Temple to Cybele.

We will take a picnic lunch to the lush, green bank of the Aude River. Afterwards, we journey up into the hills above Alet, to St. Salvayre Chapel, an unusual structure built in temple, rather than church style and featuring uncanny acoustics and exquisite energy.

The Standing Stone, or menir, is a short, easy hike up the hill, tucked into a forest alcove just off the road. It is significant that in the area around Rennes le Chateau, there are so many areas marked by standing stones.

Once we make our way back, we can decide where to have our group dinner.

Friday, Day 6
The Medieval Walled City of Carcassonne

On this day we will travel to Carcassonne and visit La Cite. This walled city was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.

Although this medieval city has lots and lots of history, it is also a popular tourist destination and fun place to visit! La Cite has an outstanding basilica with some amazing stained glass windows, historical tours, fun shops to find cool things, and a wide choice of restaurants.

We start out a little later on this morning, spend the day here and have lunch together in La Cite.

There is no group dinner this evening so your time is your own.

Saturday, Day 7
Rennes le Chateau

We come full circle and finish where we began…

We will spend time in the village museum and look more closely at the property of the ever mysterious Abbe Berenger Sauniere. What exactly did he create here? What messages are there to be found on this property? And what of the window in the Tour Magdala that points to the area of the “Cave of the Magdalene” where Ben Hammott found the chest with the anointing jar, the small alabastra vial, and the ceremonial cup, as featured in Bloodline?

We will close the tour on this night, and will leave those plans to the synchronicity of Rennes…
